  • Region 1 - Johannesburg, Soweto, and the Suburbs: A fascinating mix of cultural, historical and political tours. This is your chance to learn more about Nelson Mandela and the Apartheid struggle - all within the city boundaries of Johannesburg and Soweto.
  • Region 2 - The Northern Johannesburg Meander: An often underestimated area of beautiful hills (mountains), valleys, small towns and dams (lakes), with a sprinkling of shopping markets and wildlife experiences - within 1 hour of Johannesburg
  • Region 3 - The Vaal River Meander: This is the closest major River to Johannesburg, with a number of water activities, and cute cottages and hotels assembled along the river banks - only 1 hour away from Johannesburg.
  • Region 4 - Pilanesberg, Borakalalo, Madikwe: Your wildlife - experience starts here. View the Big 5, in game reserves in the bush-veld, situated only 1 to 2 1/2 hours away from Johannesburg.
  • Region 5: The Waterberg A little known route only beginning to open up to tourists in the last year or so. This combines the beautiful scenery of the Waterberg Mountains with an exciting wild life experience - 2 to 3 hours from Johannesburg
  • Region 6: The Panorama Route: Few routes in the country have such breathtaking and widespread views as the mountainous Panorama Route - ideal to combine with a trip to the Kruger Park - from 2 to 3 hours from Johannesburg.
  • Region 7: The Greater Kruger National Park: The world famous Kruger National Park and the surrounding private Game Reserves are "must see" destinations. Depending on where you are visiting you can travel between 3 1/2 to 5 hours to reach your destination by car. However, easily accessible flights are available from OR Tambo Airport to Nelspruit, Phalaborwa or Polokwane, which are then only a short drive away from any wild life destination in the region.
  • Region 8: Golden Gate National Park and Clarens - A truly mountainous and scenic tourism region - part of South Africa's highest mountain range, the Drakensberg Mountains only 3 hours drive from Johannesburg.
