Dainfern Golf Course Overview

The Dainfern Golf Club is located in the heart of one of the Northern Suburbs’ most exclusive residential estates. This Gary Player designed course was finished in 1991, and it offers enough to keep professionals challenged and amateurs inspired.

The Black Knight is an 18-hole championship course, and it has been masterfully wrapped around this stretch of the picturesque Jukskei River. Player has made deliberate use of natural hazards and carefully placed features, which add a dramatic and challenging element to this par 72 course. You can expect close encounters with the river on a number of holes, and if you’re lucky you’ll catch a glimpse of some of the natural wildlife that survive off this water source. As you would expect from a course of this calibre, the Kikuyu fairways are always meticulously maintained, and the greens large and challenging.

The Dainfern Country Club is conveniently located in the heart of this residential estate, and you can wind down after your round with a few drinks at the impressive clubhouse, or with a dip in the nearby swimming pool. It’s also conveniently located on the outskirts of the Fourways area, which means there is plenty of accommodation and other attractions just a few minutes away.
