Blue Mountain Lodge is in Mpumalanga, in one of the most scenic areas of South Africa. The Lodge is in close proximity to the Kruger National Park, Private Game Lodges, Blyde River Canyon, Pilgrim’s Rest, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, etc. thus affording their guests the opportunity to explore the surrounding area without having to travel great distances.

Blue Mountain Lodge Rooms

As far as the accommodation is concerned, there are a total of 17 rooms for a maximum of 34 guests. All Accommodation has the following items: * Mini Bar Fridge * Safe * Fire Extinguisher * Golf Umbrella * Fire Place * Sofas or Wingbacks and coffee table * Dressing table and Mirror * Dressing Table Hair Dryers * Bathroom and Separate Toilet * Bath and Separate Shower * Private Veranda * Hand-Embroidered Pure Cotton Linen * Wall Heater in the Bathroom * Ceiling Fan * Air Conditioner * Panach Air Dryer in the Bathroom * Toweling Gowns

The Bathroom Amenities include: Shampoo, Foam Bath, Body Lotion, Body Soap, Shower Cap, Mouth Wash, Hygiene Set, Emory Board, Shoe Mitt, and a Mending Kit

Blue Mountain Lodge Restaurants & Bars

The Lodge is set on 200 hectares of indigenous bush, farmland and forestry. Guests can enjoy walking and hiking trails, bird watching (the contrasting vegetation attracts a myriad of bird life), botanical interest and fishing. The large fjord like dam with a surface area of 5 hectares is stocked with bass. The 20 meters long swimming pool is located near the main complex and invites days of lounging in the glorious sun. The main complex comprises of a reception, elegant restaurant and a bar with a full size billiard table.

With prior notice, Blue Mountain Lodge can arrange treatments on their premises. These include facials, body massages, manicures etc. In addition to golfing and tennis activities, which the lodge can arrange in the area, there are various excursions available to their guests.

Blue Mountain Lodge is also the perfect place for weddings. A quiet shaded pathway surrounded by lush tropical flora, scented by a subtle smell of lavender, leads to the quaint white washed Chapel guarded by white rose bushes with a checker-board terrace. A background of one of the most memorable and romantic settings provides a striking scenery for the ceremony.
